Our Cottages

We have eight cottages, all of them are two bedroom,
with the exception of one, which is a one bedroom.
Two of them have private bath facilities. All cottages
are completely equipped with electric lights, propane
refrigerators and stoves with ovens, dishes, cutlery,
utensils, blankets and indoor toilets. Cottages are
heated by oil or wood. All cottages face the water.

After a big day in the out-of-doors, and a spring or fall
chill has gotten to you, you'll want to get back to indoor
life, and our sauna and shower is a great place to warm
up. The sauna is available to all our guests. A Perfect
way to prepare for an evening with your friends - you'll
make lots of them here.

What to bring

You will need groceries for the period of your stay.
It is not necessary to bring them from your home
town as we have excellent stores and supermarkets
at Ignace and a very good general store at Savant Lake -
the last stop 60 miles before you reach camp. These
stores all have complete lines of foods, frozen, fresh,
and dry groceries at reasonable cost. Bring a jacket for
the evening - not alway needed - your usual summer
clothes, and some rainwear. In late fall warmer wear will
be needed. Bring your favorite tackle and don't forget a
camera and some film. Dish towls, bath and face towels
only are needed. All other linens are provided.

McCrea Lake Outpost

Our large Outpost is accessible by boat from the lodge
with a short portage, or by plane. The Outpost has a
four burner propane stove with oven, an electric
refridgerator, propane lights, a woodstove and outdoor
plumbing, truly a wilderness camp. We have excellent
maps of the lakes available. The only item you require
extra for the outpost, is your sleeping bag.
